inQbation is a leader in the planning and execution of successful hackathons, which attract hundreds of highly skilled and talented professionals for the exclusive purpose of rapidly prototyping minimum viable products over a short period-of-time ranging from three days to six weeks. Through these hackathons, we are able to identify high performers, and recruit the best in class agile-focused professionals.
In one particular 54-hour hackathon, that started on a Friday morning and ended on Sunday night, attracted over 125 developers from half a dozen major metropolitan areas. We leveraged Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and organized into a dozen teams. Each team had a product owner and a scrum master who worked in tandem clarify user stories, define done, remove obstacles, stay aligned on priorities, and accomplish their sprint commitments. At the end of that weekend, we launched a business based on software as a service (SaaS) minimum viable product (MVP) using Lean Startup.
In another six-week hackathon, we took a dozen high school graduates from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology and organized them into three teams. Over 20% of our students scored perfect 2400 SAT scores. At the end of six weeks, we delivered two fully functional, fully tested, Software as a Service (SaaS) applications that gained immediate traction. Our hackathons rapidly produce highly qualified agile teams. We know how to attract talent.
